Healing the Healers
As a practicing therapist of more than twenty years I’ve experienced the common challenges we face as healers working in service of others, such as compassion fatigue and re-triggering.
The work we do is important, and can be deeply fulfilling. It can also be draining if we don’t take care of ourselves and continue our own healing journey.
I’m best known for treatment for trauma and process addictions, and am also offering a new program for healing the healers. As a licensed psychotherapist with training in Native American traditions, I blend traditional therapy with indigenous teachings and ceremony to provide nourishing and healing experiences for healers so they can continue to do what they do best.
I believe that the more we do to continue our own healing, the more we are able to help others. And when we connect more deeply with our spirit, we become more alive, happy and free.
If you find yourself struggling with compassion fatigue or re-triggering, or just need to recharge your batteries, I would love to hear from you and to be in service to your own healing process.
Warmly,
Vicky Frue, MS, LPC, NCC, EMDR Therapist
